Paddy Tawada has been a student and practitioner of movement and martial arts for the past 25 years and teaches people of all ages and abilities. Her background and experience in Oriental Medicine brings a healing and spiritual influence to the classes she teaches. She has a first degree black belt in Aikido.

Dr. Tawada draws from different Qi Gong styles and teaches these two forms primarily: 21 Lotus Breathing Postures and Wild Goose Qi Gong.

21 Lotus Breathing Postures has its origins in the monasteries of Indonesia where it is practiced as a way of attaining the pure, unstained nature of mind as well as strengthening and healing the body and promoting longevity. With both stationery and moving aspects, these postures engender tranquility and the cultivation and flow of vital energy.

Wild Goose Qi Gong originated in China and is a series of 128 actions that resemble the motions of a wild goose, considered the bird of longevity in China. Paddy teaches the first set of 64 actions.
